(aka I'm writing a journal to avoid doing more sewing >.>)
Yo! Long time no journal here! Lots has happened in my life since the last time I updated this. I am now 100% finished with Uni (apart from graduation, which isn't until October)! 
Pretty glad to be done, but also gonna miss all the friends I made over the years. On the positive side, despite how much I complained about Uni while being there, it's definitely been one of the best decisions I've made, and I feel I'm definitely better off for it

So, MCM Expo (or Comic Con, as it is now) was month before last. Had a great time as usual with all my bros, and was especially happy to be cosplaying properly with BladeyCakes. We became friends so fast that I'm still surprised that this May just gone was the first time we'd cosplayed together (not counting our brief FoP group May last year). I was also extremely pleased that she managed to convince me to join in with Assassin's Creed cosplay. Never feel the need to apologise about roping me into doing cosplays with you, brosis. The lulz we had along the way more than made up for the stress of making and the pain of wearing x'D 
It was also the first time I'd cosplayed something without xRosiex81, which was both strange yet fun

I'm excited to be going to another con, even if this is the last time Aya is running (can you tell I'm trying to fill the gap until Kitacon comes back around? 
). I'll be rewearing my HOTD cosplay, this time with a Takashi and Rei as well as Takagi. Then MsKitty77 and I will be fulfilling one of our long-time cosplay dreams by doing the Oerba girls (and Nobara-Firion will be bringing out her awesome Lightning again to join us! This group makes me feel that the bloody fingers I'm still getting from pinning and sewing leather boots will all be worth it in the end!) Also gonna be doing more AssCreed cosplay at Ayacon, alongside an Inception group! All the OTP times

Alas, Alcon means sewing MORE leather, since I agreed to do Altaïr alongside Nahnah's Malik (all the regrets right now, but that'll likely change once everything's done xD). Gonna also be rewearing a few other cosplays, some of which I'll retire after the con; although, as usual, there's plenty of new cosplays too, just to try my patience even more xD
Anyway, back to sewing I go. Fang's stuff isn't going to make itself! (although I really wish it would /cries) I likely won't update again for a while, so here are my cosplay plans for the rest of the year~

It's been a while...
It's been a while since I've posted a journal (mostly because I forgot that it was a thing, if I'm honest!) so here's just a brief update~
I'm currently working on my costumes for Alcon at the beginning of next month. I have a couple rewears planned, which is great and helps me cut down on the amount of work I have to do, but I also have one really big project alongside a couple of other standard ones. So most of my time is going to be spent sewing and getting frustrated with fabric, whenever I'm not busy working of course!

S'been a while since I last updated here with a journal, mostly because I guess I didn't really have anything to say. That's still the case, but I felt like updating, so hoohah, here we are~!
Kitacon is just around the corner, and as usual I'm spending most of my time trying to get the missus to start on her cosplays. In between that, I'm working on my own; surprisingly, I'm mostly done for the upcoming con, with almost all of my cosplays needing only a few things left doing (except the one I haven't started, but which will only take a day to make, max). I'm feeling pretty relaxed about Kita, which is great because I'm not feeling all that r
I feel I should write a journal, just to say...
... I'm alive!! :D
Yeah, I don't really have all that much to update one since last time, except for Alcon, I suppose. As usual, Alcon was great fun! I improved on last year's experience by actually going to panels and stuff, some of which were hilarious (particularly the Embarrassing Cosplay Stories panel, during which I sat on the floor and then collapsed afterwards when I tried standing up with jelly legs xD Perfect timing~)
I had a great time hanging out with friends as usual, particularly friends I'd met before but weren't really friends until recently because I didn't know them all that well. You guys know who you are, and you're all
Post-Aya, Pre-Alcon Journal
It's been a while since Ayacon, but I've been a little busy (plus my laptop died on me, boo!), but here I am! Only a brief report on Aya because there's not much to say. Had a great weekend, got to see all my favourite people, cosplay some awesome new things and go to some great parties. Also spent way more time playing cards and doing silly impressions than I'd ever expected, but hilarious times were had all round :D
Hopefully I'll put up some pics from our various shoots soon, since thankfully the Ayacon pics weren't on my laptop. But that all depends on when I can commandeer someone's computer, since my netbook is terrible for anything ex

I still can't believe that's the first time we've properly-properly cosplayed together. I mean... wat? xD But hey-ho! That's been fixed by most future plans haha 8'D /derp And it was absolutely wonderful to cosplay with you, brosis, and I only hope we keep doing so as often as possible~
